Created by monks almost by accident for a Queen visiting their beautiful island of Capri. My favorite (and Jackie O’s) , Fiori Di Capri has essence of Capri’s wild carnations, lily of the valley, and oak, combined with notes of amber, sandal, and ylang-ylang. Pure heaven if you ask me. Legend has it in 1948 the Pope allowed the formulas to be released to a chemist and Carthusia was born. Thank God!
I have this perfume! I bought it a few years ago when I visited Capri – still going once a year and our friend Salvatore has a daughter who works there!
